The following text is from Callicott Connections I by John T. Callicotte
(Gateway Press, Inc., Baltimore, Md, 1984), pp. 782 :

Pascal Callicott (DG-7) b. ca 1795 in Montgomery County, North Carolina. Incidentally, it appears that his descendants carry various spellings of his surname including Callicoatte and Callicoat.

Pascal married Jenny WHEELER in Wilson County, Tennessee, on October 17, 1820. Jenny was the daughter of Nathan WHEELER. John Walton was Bondsman. In Wilson County, Tennessee, the following land transaction occurred on November 3, 1826 : "Pascal Calicoat and Jane Calicoat, his wife, late Jane Wheeler of county of Wilson, State of Tennesee, for $400 sells to Elijah Vaught of Rutherford County, Tennesee: Pascal and Jane sell 'that part or lot of land drawn by Jane Wheeler out of the lands of Nathan Wheeler, deceased', being in the County of Wilson, 46+ acres on Round Lick Creek. Sealed : 'P. Callicoatte and Jane (Her Mark) Callicoatte, Dower release made by Jane.' Deed Book P. Page 80.

In the 1830 Census of Madison County, Tennesee, a household shows Pascal Calicote with wife and five children. Pascal and wife between ages 30 and 40. One son and one daughter between 5 and 10 years and two sons and one daughter under age 5.
