[NI0132] William C. Maynard, born ca 1829, married Nanct Alley, daughter of Paul and Rebecca (Williamson) Alley, on March 16, 1848 in Pike County, Kentucky (File #991). Nancy was born August 04, 1831 and died July 09, 1894 in Lamar County, Texas. William C. and Nancy resided in Logan County, Virginia in 1850; in Pike County, Kentucky in 1860; and in Boyd County, Kentucky in 1870. They removed to Lamar County, Texas before 1880 and we assume that William C. died before 1880 as Nancy appears on the census as a widow with three of her children still in the home.
