Here comes Johnny...Below are photos from Lynyrd Skynyrd's 30th Anniversary / Vicious Cycle Tour in Dallas, Texas on 24 October 2003.   WOW, what a show! We had such a great time. We were fortunate to have our friends Joe and Jeff (both single) with us to share in the fun. My husband and I went back stage to meet the band for the first time. There were a lot of people but they still took the time to say a few words to each person and shake everyones hand.    . . . click here for the rest of the story

They were all equally nice and had no problem signing items. We bought the guitar package. It's absolutely wonderful. Gary (God bless him) was not able to attend the meet-n-greet but did sign the guitars ahead of time. Unfortunately, we missed .38 Special. Our friends said they were really good. As for the Skynyrd Concert, we were front row center. The play list goes something like this (not in order): That's How I Like It, What's Your Name, Pick 'Em Up, Sweet Home Alabama, That Smell, Red, White & Blue, Workin', Call Me the Breeze, Simple Man, Gime Three Steps, I Know a Little, ENCORE: Travelin' Man, and Free Bird. I can not explain what that was like for us. One word comes to mind, "OUTSTANDING"! They played some old songs and some new from Vicious Cycle. If you haven't bought Vicious Cycle yet, you're missing out. I can't say enough good things about that CD. All in all, it was a night to remember for a lifetime. THANK YOU to Johnny and the gang and we'll be praying for you Gary.
