These recipes have been collected by family and friends for many years.  I can remember my Grandmother "Mawmaw" formally known as Etta Rogers making many of the recipes listed.  Some are so old they don't have specific instructions.  I've found listings such as moderate oven, no mixing instructions, etc.  Feel free to send me an email if you have any questions and/or comments.  If I can't answer your question, I'll do my best to find someone in the family who can.

French Toast

2 Egg
½ C. Milk
¼ teas. Salt
½ teas. Vanilla
4 teas. Sugar
1 Tbsp. Butter or Margarine
4 Thick Slices Bread
Pancake Syrup
In a shallow bowl, mix egg, milk, salt, vanilla and sugar. Beat with a whip or fork until well blended. Dip each slice of bread in mixture quickly, coating each side. Melt 1 Tbsp. Butter in skillet. Brown on each side. Top with Pancake Syrup.

Hash Brown Confetti

4 C. Frozen Hash Browns
1 C. American Cheese (Shredded)
¼ C. Green Onion Tops, (Sliced)
1 - 2oz. Jar Pimentos (Chopped)
1 Chicken Bouillon Cube
½ C. Boiling Water
2 Tbsp. Butter
Combine potatoes, cheese, onions and pimentos in 1 ½ qt. Casserole. Dissolve bouillon cube I water, pour over potatoes. Dot with butter and cover. Bake at 375° for 50 to 60 minutes, stirring occasionally. Makes 4 - 6 servings.
