These recipes have been collected by family and friends for many years.  I can remember my Grandmother "Mawmaw" formally known as Etta Rogers making many of the recipes listed.  Some are so old they don't have specific instructions.  I've found listings such as moderate oven, no mixing instructions, etc.  Feel free to send me an email if you have any questions and/or comments.  If I can't answer your question, I'll do my best to find someone in the family who can.

Cheese Dip

2 lb. Velvetta Cheese
1 Can Rotel Tomatoes
1 Pkg. Round Garlic Cheese
1 Pkg. Jalapéno Cheese
Melt all together in double boiler and slow cooker.

Cucumber Relish

3 Medium Cucumbers 
½ Medium Onion
1/3 C. Vinegar
½ teas. Salt
¼ teas. Dried Dillweed
Dash Red Pepper
Slice cucumbers in half lengthwise; scoop out seeds and discard. With food chopper, using coarse blade, grind cucumbers and onions; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Chill thoroughly. Makes about 1 ¾ cups.

Fresh Vegetable Dip

1 8oz. Sour Cream
1 Green Onion Packet Mix
1 C. Miracle Whip
2 teas. Dill Weed
Mix all ingredients.

Old El Paso Guacamole

2 Avocados (Peeled and barely mashed)
1/3 C. Chopped Onion
½ C. Chopped Green Chilies
2/3 C. Tomatoes (Chopped)
2 Tbsp. Taco Sauce
1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
1 ¼ teas. Sugar
½ teas. Garlic Powder
Mix all ingredients.

Tex Mex Dip

1 Carton Avocado Dip
1 C. Sour Cream
1 Pkg Taco Seasoning Mix
½ C. Mayonnaise
2 Cans Bean Dip
1 Large Bunch Chopped Onion
3 Medium Chopped Tomatoes
1 Small Can Sliced Black Olives
8 oz. Cheddar Cheese (Grated)
Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and taco mix. Spread bean dip on large shallow glass plate. Top with avocado dip, sour cream mix. Sprinkle on onions, tomatoes, olives, and cheese. Serve with tortilla chips.

Turkey Mex Chip Dip

1 Pound Ground Turkey
1/3 C. Chopped Onions
1 16 oz. Can Refried Beans
Dash Pepper
1 14 ½ oz. Can Mexican Style Stewed Tomatoes
1 1 ¼ oz. Taco Seasoning Mix
1 C. Shredded Low Fat Cheddar Cheese
1 16 oz. Bag Tortilla Chips
Cook turkey and onion until meat is browned and onion is tender. Drain off fat. Stir in undrained refried beans, undrained stewed tomatoes, taco seasoning mix, and pepper. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer covered for 4 to 5 minutes or until heated through. Transfer to a 1 ½ quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Serve with chips.
